Fellowships at the Fox
Our fellowship program is the cornerstone of our support for humanistic research. Our fellows spend a year in residence working to advance a major research project in dialogue with each other and with our annual theme. We invite applications from candidates who are eager to be part of a community engaged in innovative and interdisciplinary conversations. Our residential faculty fellowships, dissertation completion fellowships, and undergraduate honors fellowships are open to our Emory community. Our visiting faculty fellowships are open to faculty at all levels with full-time appointments at institutions in the metro-Atlanta area. Our postdoctoral fellowships are open to early career researchers worldwide.
Applications are now open for our Faculty Fellowships, Visiting Faculty Fellowships, Postdoctoral Fellowships, and Dissertation Completion Fellowships. Learn more about our 2026-27 research theme "Habitat."
Faculty Fellowships
The Fox Center offers year-long Faculty Fellowships for tenured Emory faculty. Our fellowships are primarily for faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences, but each year we reserve one fellowship for a faculty member at another of Emory's schools (Law, Theology, Business, Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, or Oxford College).
