The Fox Center for Humanistic Inquiry is the focal point for humanities endeavors at Emory University and serves to advance research, teaching, public engagement, and programming across all humanistic fields.

Any faculty member whose work focuses on the theme of Democracy: Past, Present, Future, may apply to join the seminar. Residential Fellowships for tenured faculty (one year) or untenured faculty (one semester of pre-tenure leave) are eligible to apply, as well as faculty not on leave but eager to participate in the year-long seminar and conference. All seminar participants will receive a research stipend.
