Teelin LuceroGraduate Dissertation Completion Fellow
Teelin Lucero is a PhD Candidate in Philosophy at Emory University, working on land, settler colonialism, and the philosophy of Martin Heidegger.
Her dissertation argues that reading Heidegger against the backdrop of broader discourses on land and landscape can clarify both his own philosophical investments and the conceptual infrastructure that supports ongoing colonial occupation and violence. Her related research interests include Indigenous philosophies, environmental studies, land management, critical Black studies, and decolonial thought.
